過去五年間，beats and friends 舉辦了許多音樂活動，默默地在台北開拓、播種，期盼這個在地底悄悄生長的 Beat 文化能萌芽開花。就像團隊的名字一樣，beats and friends 一路走來都忠於原味，發展出粗糙生猛，來自內心本質、最誠實的招牌聲響。
10/23 周五晚間在公館的PIPE水管音樂，beats and friends 將再次點燃。這次，除了團隊內的老班底外，還加入了超重量級的line-up助陣：台北自產的秋波電台、鬼才設計師Haniboi；經驗豐富的舞者 Don、Lilbo、Kaku、Spike、Charly Lin 以及 Weihua；有著最自由靈魂的黃嬉皮；Beatmakers 像是 OO、Pololu 和 rodionn。
“20twenty” 是他們目前為止最龐大的活動，記得在行事曆上記下這一天。

For more than half a decade, beats and friends have cultivated and curated music events in Taipei, for the sole purpose of amplifying a blossoming beat culture that lives quietly underground.
True to the name, beats and friends have come to develop a signature flavor that mixes intimate and honest with rugged and raw. On Friday the 23rd at PIPE Live music, they’ll be heating things up again. This time, they’ll be joined by a heavy hitting line-up of guest artists, featuring: Taipei’s very own QIUBO RADIO; DJ and Designer Haniboi; seasoned dancers Don, Lilbo, Kaku, Spike, Charly Lin, and Weihua; the notoriously free-spirited Yellow Hippy; beatmakers OO, Pololu, and rodionn.
“20twenty” is their most ambitious live project so far. You’ll want to mark your calendars for this one.
